I just tried this downloader on a Virtual Machine with Windows 7 32 bit and the downloader is working in there. Hence this downloader has a bug it does not work on Windows 7 64 bit.
Already tried the 'compatibility mode' (with a few different values) still same result when running on Windows 7 64 bit.
Still not working. I am also getting the same Windows message "Downloader stopped working" (see attached image).
No issue with internet connection and/or firewall. I totally disabled the firewall still same result.
Perhaps the file location where this downloader is attempting to find the file is broken?
Ran as administrator still same.
Direct download link please?
I am getting a Windows message that the downloader for PowerDirector 11 patch 2707 has stopped working.
I already tried restarting the computer.
Windows 7 64 bit.
Direct download please?
I am getting a Windows message that the downloader for PowerDVD 12 patch 2625 stopped working.
Already tried restarting the computer but I am getting the same result.
Windows 7 64 bit.
Direct download please?
I can confirm that Patch 1514 caused the same issue on my computer.
Here is how to fix this 'Launch RichVideo' message on Windows 7 64 bit:

1. From 'Control Panel' uninstall 'CyberLink Power Director 10' (you do not need to
uninstall 'content packs')
2. Open 'services' and disable the two 'CybelLink RichVideo' services (one reads
'RichVideo' and the other service reads 'RichVideo64')
3. After disabling those two services, stop them.
4. Open folder "C:\Program Files\CyberLink\Shared files" and remove all RichVideo files
(you should see in there various exe files, and a dll file)
5. Re-install PowerDirector 10
6. [Optional] Install the latest patch (1424c)

PD10 should now stop giving you this 'Launch RichVideo' message when you launch PD10.
Note that you may need to re-enter your product key after these steps.
Just an idea,
If you are using Windows 7 perhaps you can put a junction point (a link) in your 'C' drive for PD10 that points to your E drive. Google for symbolic links and file junctions
Anyone?
I am trying to produce MPEG-2 (PAL) file from MTS video which I took with my Camcorder.
With PowerDirector 10 the hardware acceleration is greyed out.
Using this same MTS file with MediaEspresso, hardware acceleration is turned on.
I tried this on two different computers and I got the same result hence unlikely to be a hardware problems. As experiment, I tried this with avi file as well (from avi to mpeg-2) still same result.

First computer: AMD Phenom II X4 945
Display adapter: NVIDIA GTS250

Second computer Intel i5 750
Display adapter: NVIDIA GTX560

Both computers: Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.
Power Director: PowerDirector 10 ultimate 64 bit 1129b.

Please refer to attached images.

Any help appreciated.
