What doesn't show up in that report (unless I missed it) is that I am running twin video cards. So far, everything else functions perfectly in 10. I've been using the previous version for two years to do a weekly 2-hour racing show without a hitch (43 shows since last June). The past three shows were done with 10. In 10 it freezes before the window even opens fully. Again, never had a problem with the previous version.

I am experiencing the same problem. Locks up every time I try to change aspect ratio.

Since June of 2010, I have been using PD 9 Ultra to produce a two-hour auto racing show from a local speedway. Copies are sold on DVD, plus the show airs weekly on a local cable channel. The response has been great!
I worked in TV back in the 80's & 90's, so I know that the shows are hardly network broadcast quality. This is a low budget production and I do every aspect of it by myself, including all graphics, original music, etc. However, I am quite happy with the overall end product for the price. Sure, saving your work often is important because it can be unstable at times, but to be fair, I am pushing the envelope. I am editing in video not only from the main camera, but from several cameras as well. This includes a locked down "speed shot" and several HD in-car cameras.
One suggestion would be having a way to finely jog the additional video tracks to synchronize them with the master track. For example, if you could highlight the video that you needed to move forward or backwards a frame at a time with the arrow keys, or some similar method would be wonderful.
My second suggestion would be a pair of Master VU meters for the audio, to better match audio levels between tracks. These two things would make my life so much easier!  Seriously though, I am editing one of these shows each week and can tell you from experience both suggestions would be great time savers. Something to consider for the next version.
Other than that, I really am impressed with the bang you get for your buck with this program. I have tried several of the big brand name editing programs and have found this one far more versatile. Keep up the good work!
