Nice! Thanks.
I have some photos I would like to make into a slide show. The problem is this. The default duration value is 5 seconds for each clip. How would I select multiple photos or clips and change duration on all of them at the same time? I would like to increase the duration. I know how to do this with single clips but multiple? Thank you.
I have a ram disk installed on my computer. Would it be an advantage to point the scratch disk to this drive for speed? I presently have a second mechanical drive that uses the scratch drive. Thanks in advance. Michael
Only makes you wonder that if you did indeed upgrade to PD-10 or 11, if then again the same thing will occur with those versions? Seems kind of dismal in my humble opinion. I use to rave about Power-director. However, not so sure now!
I rolled back the driver to Nvidia 301.42 Version and it took care of the problem. Will there be a patch for PD-9? Or is this a way to get folks to update to version 11? Just curious. It seems a shame that we can't have the latest driver for the card?
Sincerely,
Michael
I have a GeForce Nvidia GT 440 card with latest driver update 314.07. The problem I'm having which I didn't have before is this. I am trying to edit .mpg files and there is constant rendering going on. Stop and go with progress bar to the upper right of the timeline. I let it render all of the way, but even still after, it freezes and generally acts very sluggish to edit. almost useless. I have been very happy with this product in the past. Not sure what is going on. I have 16 gigs of ram with a quad core processor. Please help!
Thanks in advance for any and all replies. Michael
It doesn't really sound like it can be controlled without modifying the beginning of the clip. However, you wouldn't in all cases want to do that anyway. I guess just live with it or figure out something else with a custom menu.
I see. Yes. that is what I meant. It may not be so annoying if you could select what you wanted played in this little snippet. If you think of the "other trick" or some other work around let me know. Thanks for replying!
When I modify one of the predetermined menus or default menus, I go to preview and the first part of the clip in the timeline plays in the center of the menu. I like this, but is there a way I could change what part of the clip plays in the opening of the menu? Hope that made sense, otherwise I could try and explain better. Thank you in advance.
Worked perfectly! Thanks much. This is a great forum!
Thanx,
I'll give it a try!
I am new to the program and just went into transitions to add between two clips. I was looking for "fade to black" which is probably the most generic and used transition ever. Can't seem to find it. There are a lot of flashy transitions there which I'm sure serve their respective purpose. But what about a good old fashion "fade to black" ? I'm I just not seeing it?
Thanks,
Michael
Hello, I'm new to the forum and PowerDirector9,64. I used to use Premiere Elements 8. When I would finish a project, I used to burn to a ISO file and burn the DVD from it. Can one do this with PowerDirector 9? I don't see a whole lot of options? I think it is a fast program and would like to use it. I downloaded the trial version and am exploring it. Thanks in advance.
