I tried, tonight, moving a short clip of my video to the "create a disk" function.
It burnt the clip into a file with no problems.
I tried to burn into a file my full 55mts video and the imediately the Error e80070057 notice came up and stoped me from burning it even not into a file.
I am quite desparate
please come up with a creative solution
thanks
Alik
Dear Carl312,
I need your help a bit more.
I found your suggested article already several days ago.
I tried to follow the steps suggested in the article but found it difficult to identify some of the sources of these steps.
Since English is not my mother toungue, can I ask you to list the steps in a check list form and even suggest the location (like Device Manager) of those functions.
I am so frustrated not being able to complete my project.
Is Cyberlink aware of this bug? Shouldn't they offer a correction patch?
Thanks
Alik

Dear Watercolorwilly,
Last night I tried my new condenser mic (Alctron UM900) and recorded few sections on Wave Editor.
Once I figured out the WE program (couldn't find a detailed manual, why?) I recorded few minutes, edited out some noisy elements, then saved it. Then, I imported the saved section to PD and placed it on a free sound track on the time line. With the split button I spaced the sections to match the pictures. The whole operation was efficient, short and good quality. I am sorry Cyberlink had overlooked the problem of adding a VO for the videos where every other function works relatively well. May be next version
Thanks all for your help
Alik
Thanks mike
I'll try recording unto the WE and report back
Alik
Thanks again.
On Monday I am going to buy a semi-professional condenser mic and will try your suggestions,
and report back.
Can you suggest a good cupturing audio program whre I can record the narration unto a audio disk and then edit the narration (52mts) on a sound track?
Thanks
Alik
Michael and Rbowser
I'll try your Wave Editor method.
hope it works.

I completed finally the editing phase of my 52 mts family video in Alaska. Today I began recording the voice over narration. Whenever I stopped the dialogue box worked out over 8 minutes until it recorded the VO track on its time-line. Every time I made a mistake and needed to re-record, it took between 8-10 minutes until the dialogue box disapeared off the screen and I could record again. What am I doing wrong? Please advise.
Thanks
Alik
Up until yesterday editing went smoothly. I am on my 42nd moment of editing. I should complete the video in about 3 additional moments. Last night I received the following message: "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify if a solution is available"
I need to stop editing and reload the program and the resources. A minute later I get again the message and the program disappear.
I cannot go on editting. Please advise. Thanks. Alik
Dear Jaime-esque
Again appreciate your help. While trying to look for Add a Chapter button, I did find them concealed below the line of the Automated Chapter assignments options. I think it is the wrong location to place them.
Thanks again
Alik
Barry, the Crab,
My PD program is version 9.0.0.2930
I hope the dxdiag details are as requested: I am using Windows 7 on Sony Vaio computer.
CPU M330@ 2.13Ghz
Ram 4.00GB
64 bit operating System
Meanwhile I found the right buttons which were quite concealed below the automated chapters assignment.
Many thanks for assisting me
Alik

I am new to Power Director 9
I just began editing my first video.
When inserting a shot (clip) between two edited sequences, I don't know how to move the sequences as block, meaning that all the shots edited stay together on the time-line.
Please help
Thanks
Alik
