Dear Carl312,
I need your help a bit more.
I found your suggested article already several days ago.
I tried to follow the steps suggested in the article but found it difficult to identify some of the sources of these steps.
Since English is not my mother toungue, can I ask you to list the steps in a check list form and even suggest the location (like Device Manager) of those functions.
I am so frustrated not being able to complete my project.
Is Cyberlink aware of this bug? Shouldn't they offer a correction patch?
Thanks
Alik

Oh, Yes, Cyberlink is well aware of this condition. As are the many editors that post in this forum.

The error is caused by the condition of your computer or the source material you are using or even bad burning media.
You could have bad information in the PDS file.

For further help post the requested information:

I tried, tonight, moving a short clip of my video to the "create a disk" function.
It burnt the clip into a file with no problems.
I tried to burn into a file my full 55mts video and the imediately the Error e80070057 notice came up and stoped me from burning it even not into a file.
I am quite desparate
please come up with a creative solution
thanks

since you are able to make DVD disks, your computer has enough resources to finish a DVD.

BluRay or AVCHD take roughly 6 times the free space that a DVD does.

The Maximum size of a double layer DVD is 8.5 GB, the resources needed on your computer is about 20 GB on C:

The Free space needed on C: for a BluRay is about 100 GB.
I am assuming that you don't have enough resource to create a BluRay disk with your Computer.
One other factor, if you do not have a BluRay Burner, you can't make a BluRay disk.

If you post the requested information we would have a better idea of how to solve your problem.

We do not ask that information to spy on you, a Dxdiag.txt file will list your computers hardware, memory and information about the codecs installed.

It does not list the programs installed or any personal information. It does list the name of your computer.
Part A of the request is the version and build of your Powerdirector.

Mine is Powerdirector 9.0.0.3305.
Most of my computer spec you can read in my signature.

if no post of the requested information, this is the last answer you will get from me.
