OK thanks optodata for the quick response. I indeed only need proxies for my 2k7 and 4k media files when adding fx etc. PD doesn't automatically detects when proxies are needed or not, means I have to set, depending on the media in my project, manually on or off the shadow files creation.

When I enable proxy creating (of my UHD media files) with a shadow file resolution of 1920x1080 in PD. PD also creates shadow files when I'm using HDV (1440x1080) or HD (1920x1080) media files. This makes no sense to me. Is there a way to tell PD only to create shadow files when source media has a resolution larger than HD?

I always use the internal W10 Photo App to automatically import Video files from my Hero7 and Osmo Pocket to my Media Folder on my HD when connecting through USB. It also recognizes automatically new recordings and adds them in chronological order to my HD. From that HD, I import the recordings into PD18 which goes very fast.

Yes, luckily I saved my original download files, when I purchased PD18. I just reinstalled them and SVRT rendering is working again. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction.

Means it's also not possible to deinstall PD18 and reinstall with the original installation files before and leaving out the update?

Last week I spent my old graphics card (Gtx 650ti) a driver update. This week I discover that smart rendering is no longer working for my Osmo Pocket 2160p50 Files in PD18. Or is this caused by the recent PD18 update?

Hat PD Plugins hier Zwischenbilder zu rechnen oder muss ich mit Programmen wie Respeedr vorarbeiten?

PD kann auch Zwischenbilder erstellen (in eine erweiterte Einstellung). Das Resultat wird aber nicht begeistern.

Nach Upgrade von PD14 nach PD16 stürzt PD16 sofort ab beim ersten Klick nach hochfahren. Neuinstallation lässt PD16 ein zweimal normal hochfahren, dann wiederum Absturz. Bin sehr enttaüscht.
