You are a star. Thank you.
I watch movies pretty much every day on my computer. Then, just out of the blue, the bluray player stopped working. I am pretty sure I haven't changed anything. But PowerDVD doesn't play movies anymore.

I re-ran bluray advisor and it told me that my AMD graphics card was not suitable for bluray play back.

I have reinstalled the drivers for that, The Lg bluray drive and powerDVD 13, But it has not made any change. The drive still acknowelleges the discs through file explorer and I can get the discs to play via winDVD. But not in power dvd.

PowerDVD 13

Amd video driver.

Windows 10

LG bluray Drive

Does anyone know where I am going wrong?

And what about "The Man With The Iron Fists"?! ?!?! I keep asking!
I am happy to send you my copy if you are having trouble sourcing it.
How about "The Man With The Iron Fists"?
No. No change.
I have already upgraded to 13

Thanks for your help
my cpu thingy is this :

intel(R) core(TM)2 duo CPU e8400 @ 3.00ghz 3.00 GHz

i am running Windows 8.1

Turns out i already had trutheater enhancements set on. tried it with it off now too. Its still the same.
Sorry, where is the "software decoder" in powerdvd or in Windows?
i have tried different cables, no change there.

i have also tried different programs. The others played the disc fine.

So it is most certainly a power dvd12/13 problem
No i don't. Should I?
I am having picture break up problems on "the man with the iron fists" please see the video I posted in my original post for an example

Barcode: 5050582877236
Country of origin: England/United Kingdom
mine was bought in England. so should be the same as the German disc
Well don't waste you're money upgrading to powerdvd 13 like I did.

I contacted technical help and after some back and forth they said they are looking into it. So i should think that they are going to issue a program update as soon as they can.

I am also annoyed powerdvd 12/13 isn't playing a lot of the FOX blurays I have.
I have just downloaded a free trial version of a different bluray player program and the disc plays fine in that. So it must be a problem with Powerdvd12/13
Thank you for your reply. I have checked the list you and dont see the problem posted. I have since upgraded to PowerDVD 13 and upgraded the driver to my bluray drive - but still the error persists.
The disc is brand new. No scratches on it.

I get terrible picture break up on my copy of Man With The Iron Fists. It only happens on this bluray and none others. please see video for example.
