Quote After updatet to powerdirector 18 i have lot of problems whit my luts, when i try to scroll its wery laggy and stops and i have too wait for wery wery long time before its respons. so need some help to fix it.. maybe a bug in powerdirector 18..

I've had the same issue for awhile now. It's clearly a bug in the software. I'm able to scroll through about 25% of my LUTS without issue and can test them out as intended. But once I scroll past about the first 25% of my LUTS library PD stops responding for periods of about 30 seconds and then if I continue attempting to scroll or click on any other LUTS the same thing happens. The only way to get it to return to normal functioning is to exit the LUTS menu. I'm hoping this issue will be resolved in a future patch.

Also, a suggestion for the LUTS menu – currently after we select the one we want and exit the LUTS menu, if we go back in again it doesn't highlight the one that is currently selected...you have to remember or write down which one you chose in case you want to apply it to other clips on your timeline later on. It's a bit of a pain if you have a large library to try to figure out which one you selected.
Strange that they would allow 48 kHz at a lower bit rate of 192 mbps, but not at a higher bit rate. But in any case, thanks so much for clarifying this for me, Tony. You've been a great help! I've been using PD for years and this is my first time on the forum. I'll definitely make this my first stop the next time I have a question.

Cheers,

Justin

Hi Tony,

Thanks for your reply! These profiles seem to work for changing the sample rate to 48 kHz, but the audio bit rate is still 192 kbps. I'm looking for 384 kbps (or at least 320 kbps if 384 is not possible on a WMV profile) with a 48 kHz sample rate. Would you happen to know how to do that? Thanks so much!

Cheers,

Justin
Would it be possible to create this type of profile?

Format: .wmv
Resolution: 960 X 720
Frame Rate: 29.970 fps
Bit Rate: 9000 kpbs
Audio: 384 kbps (or 320 kbps if that's not possible), 48 kHz, Stereo, 16-bit

I've been able to edit profiles before, but when it comes to changing the sample rate I keep getting stuck on nBlockAlign...I can't figure out how to reach the correct value for that. I'm using PD11 if that makes any difference. Would appreciate any help or advice anyone could provide!
