Thank you Nina for your help.

I have adjusted the resolution on the window as it was set to medium before. It made a big difference when I set it to High Preview Resolution.

Would you be able to elaborate as to how to render the files on my computer? I will be happy to convert the files to which ever format is best. I would like to ensure that the slideshow I upload is not too high in resultion as I don't wish for the slideshow to take forever to upload or take a long time for people to download and view the slideshow.

Thank you and a happy new year.

Thank you Max and PJC for your help.

The keyframe function works perfectly. Unfortunately I don't think the preview function does what I want it to do. The quality of the images is not that good even on high preview resolution mode (I presume this is what you meant HD). Also, when I put on a slideshow, I don't wish for the slideshow controls to be in view when it is being played.

Perhaps Power Director is not the program I need after all. I quite like the program as I wanted to use it for my slide shows that also include short Movie Files using my HD Video funtion on my Digital SLR Camera. The previous slideshow program I was using (Proshow) does not enable me to view video files.

Do you have any suggestion on a slideshow program that will enable me to do what Pwer Director does plus the above?

Thank you & a happy new year to you all

David
Hi

I have just posted a couple of questions about Power Director which I am currently trialing for photo slideshows which I intend to use ofr my photography business. I have a couple more questions to ask about this program before I make a decision to buy it.

1) I noticed on the Trial version the slideshow images are very soft. Is this because I am using a trial version? If not, please advise how I can sharpen the images.

2) I would like to be able to upload images to my own website (ie not Facebook or You Tube). Is this possible?

Thanks again,

David
Hi

I have downloaded the trial version of Powerdirector 9 which I intend to use for photo slideshows as part of my photography business. After playing with this program for a few hours, I would like to say that I am relatively happy with this program. I have two concerns that perhaps someone may be able to provide me with guidance in these areas.

My first concern is that I have fiddled with the features of this program to produce a color to black & White transition by copying a color image to a seperate track and adjusted the fade in on the first image and a fade out on the second image. I also removed the saturation of the second image for the conversion from color to black and white. I adjusted the fade markers on both the color and black and white images, trying to get a smooth transition between the two images, but I am afraid it is not smooth enough. Is there a simple whay to smoothly arrange a transition of the same photo from color to black & white? It is a nice effect to use at the end of the slideshow.

Also, it takes a while to convert my slideshow to Mpeg4. Is there a quick way to produce a slideshow, such as on an executable file? As I intend to use this program to produce and display photo slideshows in wedding receptions, I will need to ensure that the slideshow is produced quickly. Please advise if there is a quick way to produce Photo Slideshows on Power Director 9.

Thank you

David
