In that case I am getting a refund and moving to another product unless something can be solved very soon

I just purchased PD11 and this thing is BROKEN... Rendering continually... I can't use it AT ALL. Totally disappointed right now. Is there going to be a fix? FAST ?

306.97 fixes some other problems I was having but not PowerDirector.

I agree with Thanalas, can we please have a patch from Cyberlink to fix this problem. It's almost been a month now and no solution other than downgrading the drivers (not a solution imo).

Rolling the drivers back to 301.42 is not a viable option for me, I need 306.23 to fix performance issues in other applications and games. I really hope we can see a fix soon from whichever party

Yeah I've rolled back to 301.42 until a fix for this can be found.

Yes I am using 306.23 WHQL released today. I'm not using any beta drivers. The problem is still happening.

I have this problem too, since updating to 306.23

I've just rented two Blu Ray movies and they are both saying:
"There is a disc with an unsupported format in drive G:"
I can't play either of them in my PowerDVD 11. I have failed to be able to play almost any Blu-Ray since I purchsed this software, it's been a total waste of money.
I'm running the latest version of PowerDVD 11 2608 and I've just updated the firmware on my Liteon drive to the latest.
Video drivers are the latest version (nvidia).
Does anybody have any suggestions before I ditch this software?
Thanks

Hi Tony,
5760x1080 is just my desktop resolution (nVidia Surround, 3x(1920x1080) monitors) and that's the resolution I'm running games in and Fraps'ing at.
PowerDirector is happy to import smaller videos from Fraps, I've tried 1920x1080 and 2880x540 but it refuses to accept them in 5760. I don't believe the file format is any different in any of these cases, they are Type 1 uncompressed AVIs.
All other programs I've tried haven't had any trouble opening these full size videos apart from PDR9
I'm guessing there is some sort of a dimensions limit in PDR but I honestly don't know. When I try to import the clip into PDR I get a message box popping up:
"An error occurred while opening this media file in the media library. It may be because the file is broken, an unsupported format, protected video content, or for another reason."
Thanks again

PowerDirector 9 Ultra64 is unable to open my Fraps AVI videos in 5760x1080@60fps. I receive the error message:
"An error occurred while opening this media file in the media library. It may be because the file is broken, an unsupported format, protected video content, or for another reason."
I am able to import smaller dimension videos from Fraps but not these ones.
Is this a known problem? Limitation, or otherwise?
Thanks

Thanks Tony,
That's incredibly useful information you have linked. Thanks again for taking the time to respond

Hi all,
I was hoping for a little help. I'd like to have 4 videos displayed at the same time. One video in each quarter. Can anybody advise me how to do this in Powerdirector 10?
Thanks!

I've just purchased PowerDVD 11 and updated it to the latest version. I am unable to play my Transformers: Dark of The Moon Blu-Ray due to error: "There is a disc with an unsupported format in drive F"
Any help appreciated
