Hi, I loaded up a large file in .mts format. When the file is not on the story board it ran fine, when I placed the file on the storyboard it would run a couple of seconds then I'd get a small box on the right side that said "Rendering" for 5 or 6 seconds then play another second or two. I did this all they way to the end of clip.

I converted to file to a .avi file and it did the exact same thing. Any ideas?

My system is setup as follows:

Power Director 10 Ultimate 64 bit.
Windows 7 64 bit
16 gig of PC1600 DDR3
Intel 2600K CPU
Nvidia 560 Ti in SLI

I'm going to try some other clips but I really need to work with the one that keeps doing the rendering thing.

Thanks, Intel 2600K

I don't have a link but it is a problem with the latest Nvidia video drivers. If you load up your old drivers it will solve your rendering problems My youtube channel====> http://www.youtube.com/user/relate2?feature=mhsn

The only drivers that works are the 301.42. All the new drivers have that error . Big fail for NVIDIA.

Thanks for bit of info everyone!

I am indeed running the latest beta driver from Nvidia. I moved to it because the current latest release was causing a couple of games to crash when in SLI mode. I'll roll back to the driver prior to the latest release and see if that does it.

Thanks again! Intel 2600K

Just put in a previous driver and that did the trick, the video plays as it should now. I really hope Nvidia gets this resolved in thier next driver release.

Any other new users with Nvidia and none new users we have to do our part to let Nvidia know the issue with their drivers otherwise it will never get fix.
Previously I couldn't contact them throgh official channel forums till one the folks from Nvidia posted a official bug report link,I'm requoting what i said on other users post:

Please us the official driver for Nvidia 301.42,any beta version after that even the new on that's out today has issue with GPU acceleration.

Also everyone else if y'all can please submit a bug on this link to Nvidia so they can fix this issue.

The new version whql of Nvidia will be release around the corner and I assume it will not have the fix for PD10 acceleration since the new whql will be basically identical to the beta version 306.02.

Does the whql 306 that was released have the issue? No point in loading the new one if the bug is not fixed. Intel 2600K

Yeah I've rolled back to 301.42 until a fix for this can be found.

Can I ask why we think this is a "bug" or failure?

SVRT may just be assessing the NEED for Rendering (hence the quick render bar)?
Cyberlink refers to the process in the DOCS, but not sure how it all works, yet.

Thanks for attempting to help those in need, SickNecro!

Not sure how you found this, however, this thread was created more than 2 years ago, so I did find the solution was updating the drivers for PowerDirector11. Funny that this same solution still applies to PowerDirector13, so you are right on track!!!!!!

Thanks Again for helping the community.
