Dave:
Can you please carry out a small experiment for me?

Open PD7 v2105
Place the Aquarium.mpg in the time-line
Select Produce
Select Create a File
Select Mpeg2 > DVD HQ
Uncheck Dolby Digital
Click Next
Select produce location
start rendering

Please locate and play the file.

Please state the media player you use to play the file.

Repeat the experiment with your own files and again report back.

Thank you

Dafydd

Hi I tried it, with no audio results. I saved into "My Videos" and played each one with Windows media player.
When you mentioned "select produce location," you mean file name and location, right?

Thanks. Dave

Dafydd.... I should also mention that when I monitor the video while it is 'producing,' there is no audio.

Dave,

The standard response for all issues is to uninstall/reinstall - do that.

Subject: PowerDirector - information we request and tasks to carry out.
PART C
PART E & F - useful to explain your actions.

Please download and play the following video file (mpeg2)
http://www.SoftDeko.com/Videofiles/atestmpeg2.mpg
This is a 9mb file.
I want to know if you have audio when you play the file.

You have 2 days to download the file.

Dafydd

Hi, Dafydd

I'll do the download tonight, and try it out. Thanks for hanging with me on this.

Dafydd I didn't know how to get back to this original thread. Thanks.

Yeah, the stuff with the key is really frustrating. I'm going to give it a few more days, then give up and go to another software. Very disappointing, as I really like the software... so far as I can use it.

(We visited Northern Wales a couple of years ago. Beautiful, and great people.)

Dafydd The latest reply to me from Cyberlink is that they can find no record of my purchase, and 'would I please prove that I bought this product?' Kind of torques my whole attitude. Let's give it one more try, and then just say "**** it." Okay?

Hi Dave,

Send me your purchase details - PM me.
Where you got the product from - download, Order number, full name, email address AND the CD key you have?

I'll contact someone in CyberLink to follow this up asap.
