Hi Prash,
You should select "Post Reply" rather than the use the quick reply box.

Select "Attachments" and then browse for the file etc.

Please make sure the video you provide as a sample is unchanged/has not been edited and comes directly from the capture software.

My guess is the file/mp4 is the cause of the problem and having a sample etc will help resolve the problem.

I am using latest version of Nvidia Geforce Experience 1.8.1 with GPU Driver version 331.93 beta

Even if I turned off real time preview, scrolling over file freezes....

I really love PD for my gaming video editing and I am quite hopeful that you and CL tech team can help me out in this issue

NOTE: THIS FREEZING/LAG ISSUE NEVER EXISTED WITH PD 11 ULTRA.......

I've tried to get this a few times but version still shows 2321. Downloader instantly says it is downloaded but install is the old patch.
Can anyone supply a direct link to the new patch (via pm would be ok) so I can try it? PD12 Ultimate Suite (upgrade from PD11 Ultimate). PhotoDirector 5. PowerDVD13. YouCam 5.

I had same problem u need to goto the folder u downloaded patch and delete it then click on link again merry Christmas every 1 Director suite 2

Hi,
If this issue persists and I have had the same problem. I go to: C:\ProgramData\CyberLink\Downloader and delete the *.ini files. Works every time and is pretty simple to do. The Downloader will then work and you can retain the new data to a new folder etc.

Thank you for the files, I downloaded from mediafire - quicker. I've yet to apply the latest patch, I wanted to check your data out first. The rotational video you provided makes it hard to determine whether it is the manual application of the rotation or the stuttering effect. I don't believe I see the stuttering, just your applying the rotational motion. If I'm wrong I'm sure you'll correct me. Perhaps a video with horizontal motion would make the issue clearer (for CyberLink).

I have my Preview set at Full HD.

I tried to create a Custom profile for your video that would trigger SVRT - failed so far. The frame rate variables are likely to be a problem. I have edited the custom profile I made to 58.76. See display.

Hi Prash,
I was asking for motion that was across the width of the screen - from one side (left) to the other (right). I believe it would be easier to see the stutter.

Just trying to find the best video display to show the problem you have.

Does a PDR12 Produced video display the stuttering or is it only during Preview?

Thanks! That did the trick. Before I had no option where to save and "open file location gave me no file. Patch installed. PD12 Ultimate Suite (upgrade from PD11 Ultimate). PhotoDirector 5. PowerDVD13. YouCam 5.

I produce videos with mp4 default profile of 1920 x 1080 with 16mps, there are no issues with produced quality is the BEST!! I am facing problem while in editing mode/preview mode, I have linked below my Youtube Video where You can when I try to drag across the video who it stucks,

Hi Prash,
Ok, the information you've given indicates a couple of possibles.
1. Your data transfer rate is insufficient. It is a very high bitrated video.
2. the GPU is struggling.
The "spanner in the works" is the PDR11 fact and it doesn't help I cant replicate the issue, my set up differs from yours.

How long have you had the SDHDD?
Does it allow PDR11 to display preview ok?

Live chat - no point. All I wanted was a scene/video where you have a "man (or a car)" running across the screen left to right or the other way around. It's just to see smooth motion being displayed jerkily in preview. I've PM you.

also I will send you a video showing PD11 ultra is working smooth like butter with same computer and GPU but only thing I need to downgrade to Nvidia driver 331.65 (due to rendering bar issue with PD 11)...

1. RAW Mp4 file from shawdowplay - motion left to right - let me know if this is fine or you still need something else
2. video showing PD 11 ultra working just fine with same mp4 shadowplay file without any lag, unfortunately screen capture software is not able capture preview window ( its shows black screen only) but trust me its smooth and without any lag if you see it in real time....

Please find attached video file link - Mediafire - this video shows that there is no lag or freezing issue with PD 11 Ultra with same Raw mp4 shawdowplay files irrespective of their file size or format....

I have tested in high and HD preview and it works like a charm.... I hope CL tech team can figure out that there should be something wrong with PD 12 itself..... since the previous version works just fine with same setup and hardware configuration

Hi Prash -

Even though this discussion appears to be completely disconnected from the topic header & unrelated to the application of the beta patch, I'll just chime in to say that your MP4 file out of ShadowPlay runs fine in PD11 & PD12 here (preview set to HD on both). Here, at least, there is no difference in how smoothly the preview plays between PD11 & PD12.

I can't explain why you'd be experiencing what you are. The MPEG-4 files from ShadowPlay do have a high bitrate (52.6MBps) but that doesn't explain the difference between PD11 & 12 that you're seeing.

Set to Medium Quality recording, ShadowPlay uses a lower bitrate (24MBps) with a different profile (High@L4.2). Have you tried that setting? https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/627607/shadowplay-limitations/

Sorry - not much help - just confirming what Dafydd has reported.

I have tried varios other formats like Avi, wmv, mov with various quality low and high, it appears problem still persist

i have already raised ticket to tech team lets hope they come up with some solution, I feel software developer team needs to look into problem and compare the situation with PD 11 as PD11 is working just fine with all formats
