Several communications with technical support with no progress. Had uninstalled and reinstalled; redownloaded the software...tested with BD Advisor, sent a report about my hardware compatibility with BD.

Using Windows 7 ultimate, 64 bit, since I had it worked for almost two weeks, I would rule out the possibility of incompatible hardware involved. There is no hardware failure because I can use Aiseesoft bluray ripper to rip the DVD with smooth picture playing (preview) at the same time.

What other solution is out there?

Is it fair to ask for a refund since the software is not working for me?


I found a solution that might work for you as well. The program needs administrator rights. Go to the installation folder, right click on the program (for me it was "C:\Program Files\CyberLink\PowerDVD20\PDVDLP.exe"), click on properties, click on the compatibility tab and check the "run this program as an administrator" box. Click on Apply or accept and you're done. I was able to play my bluray discs without any problem afterwards.

mismo problema solo que ayer que compre el PowerDvD21 bajo mi correo anterior que no me deja acceder a esta zona y soporte dijo que la cuenta de tienda tiene credenciales distintas a la de la tienda cyberlink bueno tueve que poner un correo distinto ya que al comprar el PowerDvD21 no me registre en la zona de meimbros fue mi error si no que fui directamente a comprar PowerDvD21 y de ahi mandaron un correo para configurar mi clave y disque terminar de crear mi cuenta en fin tuve que registrar otro correo para ingresar a esta zona ya que el otro correo no me lo acepta ya que dise que el correo esta existente, pero llendo directamente al tema ayer que lo compre tuve 1 problema aparte de el ingreso a la zona de miembros cyberlink, resulta que el dia de ayer de la compra estaba reproduciendose bien el BD Disc y hoy que quise volver a reproducir el Bd Disc me sale el Codigo 80004005 Error no Especificado solo me pasa con Bd Disc tengo el S.O Windows 8.1 Pro tengo todas las updates al dia me es raro pero bueno quisiera una solucion al problema por que viendolo friamente es dinero tirado a la basura y formatear no es mi opcion ya que igual cuento con 1 key 1 usser 1 pc ojala y me den solucion.
