I saw YouTubes on using Skin Softning and Touch up however that was for previous versions as PD apparently no longer has an affiliation with NEW BLUE.

Is there any skin softning function in PD 365? I did a searce and no results came up...

Will the New Blue Essentials 5 Vol 3 ($99) work with PD 365?

Thanks for any insights.

That function is in the NB Giveaway I posted last year when PD20/365 came out. It crashed PD but worked in Davinci Resolve as in the NB advertising. Posted the review on both the NB and the BCC Beauty Studio on YouTube.

I was going to recommend the BCC Beauty studio and discovered after reading your post that installing PD365 removed my installation of the BCC three years ago.

This is unacceptable.

The next time I need to do skin softening I will have to use a different video editor or remove PD365 permanently and reinstall the BCC module to use with my previous versions of PD. It looks like no skin softening solution is allowed with PD365.

See this post: https://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/97042.page . I have to agree about using a different video editor when needed.

There is good news. You may want to upgrade to the PD365 DS or buy the NewBlue Essentials 5 Vol3. NB offers a money back guarantee if it doesn’t work as I am told in the other forums.

See this link for the NewBlue Essentials 5 Volume 3: https://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/85971.page . I had posted all the links to the NB Giveaways during the PD19 period. After PD20/365 came out, I believe users reported that NB plugins purchased no longer work in PD20/365. Cyberlink created a patch to allow some classic NB plugins purchased before to work in PD20/365.

NewBlue Support issued a hotfix in late January this year for the above to work in PowerDirector. I did not reinstall and do the hotfix. Did not want to do a backup of my C drive which takes many hours to restore just to see if it works or causes problems with my other editors. I know other users purchased other NB packs and are given the same hotfix.
