Produce Error?
[Post New]
Hello,

Having some issues.

When I produce my video clip.

I can hear sound, and the titles show up, but the video is all black.
It is series of video clips, sound clips, and image (snapshots from the video)

We I do a preview render, it works. When I produce it, I get and error.
There are multiple effects, sound edits (via Audio Director)

If I close the project, and PD365, reload it. I can then produce it
(.mp4 at 480x480 h.264)

Error:

I have no answers, just hoping that if there are more of us with the same problem, there may arise a solution! In my case, the produced video works, but when I go back to edit more of the PD video, the imported screen recording is black. I have a screen recording (using the PD function) and an audio recording (edited in AD). At Either end I have an image and PD intro and outro cards with fades--that all works fine. It's just the screen recording that doesn't work consistently and the error message popping up every time.

Since both errors relate to “Preview Cache Files” I'd probably delete all with pref > General and Manually Delete button in a new PD20 session or delete the cache folder.

These proxy and/or preview render cache files appear to periodically cause issues in an edit session. After removal as above see what issues appear.

I think that was it!! Thanks!! Lol, it's probably pretty obvious to someone more knowledgeable than I am.
