.mov files not importing

Hi guys. I hope someone can help me here.

I am trying to import som alpha overlay files in .mov format. When i drag and drop them into library, powerdirector crashes everytime. I think there is a problem with my codec cos those files cant be played in windows player, only in vlc player. I have the k-lite codec pack installed.
Did someone run into this kind of problem?

There are so many discussions with the solution already on the forum and a quick search for MOV would have shown them. Here's a recent one.

Thanx for your patience mate. U helped a lot. Seems that i solved the problem by installing QT Lite...
