Cannot use PowerDirector 365 offline!!!

I have been using PowerDirector for years, I decided to purchase the 365 subscription two days ago... I have used it for a day but then when I just tried to launch it offline while in the car I received an error stating that I need to connect to the internet so that it checks the subscription is valid

I connected to the internet and it worked, but then I disconnected the internet and tried again and the same error appeared!

This is despite the knowledge base stating that the software can be used offline as long as it has connected to the internet at least once every 30 days to check the subscription status https://www.cyberlink.com/support/purchase-faq-content.do?id=16755

For me it's not working... It cannot connect offline... This is a big problem as I often edit while travelling when there is no internet... Is this a bug?

Other users reported this last week, but found out it was something to do with their password. See this thread:

I changed my CL password as per that thread but still cannot access PD 365 offline frown

Your best bet is to contact CL customer service.
