Hi,

Does anyone know why PowerDirector 12 would cause Produced Video MP4's to produce only audio and no video? At least when trying to playback in any video software other than Cyberlink's Power Media Player. Microsoft and other video players only play the audio portion. No video. While Cyberlink's video player plays both audio & video.

Thanks!

Chris

I would guess the most likely cause is to do with the codecs on your comuter. Instalingl the K-Lite codec pack may well resolve the problem for you. Have you tried playing back your files with VLC media player, there aren't many formats that cannot handle.

Hi Chris

Something to to try: Have a look in preferences and see if you have hardware acceleration checked. If it is checked, uncheck it and try again. Also uncheck enable hardware decoding.
