Dolby digital sound the best but still not great. AAC is unbelevabky bad. L whatever name wasn't good wither. The videos portion is nice but what can use for adding audio to vidwo? Is it possible to do without reencoding?

I think power director itself that is bad at handling audio, not the codec used.

Issue 1) I import the wav and put on a track and see yellow on the wav image like it's clipping and aounds bad. I used a limiter when making the waves and it does not exceed -.28db at the worste of spots.

And 2) The audio sounded wobbly, an echo kimd of when usong the AAC. L whater wasn't great even though I read it's lossless so it should be fine. The Dolby sounded like it added ringingness to the audio. Compared to the wav Power directer makes me dislike my music.

Well I just tried adobe premier using the rendered video from power directer and the original wav file. Result: Audio is %100 identical to the original and it used AAC. So there is definately something wrong with power director.

Wasn't there a fix for an AAC problem?

I couldn't find any answers when looking up audio issues. I think what was really happening is despite the bitrate chosen I ended up with a poor quality audio inside of say, 320kbs. Badically it sounded like my music was encoded at 128kbs even though the highest setting was chosen. Furthure proof lies in the L whatever codec. I read it is lossless yet it sure did not sound that way.

I moved on to adobe premiere and got a refund. Shame since I really like the slide 2 transition. The video editing and quality was great. But for music videos, audio is more important and that is the one issue I had with this software.
