[quotePostId=273889]Well, I totally agree with MicreaForce, as I am in a similar situation. Have two computers, both with Intel Haswell-E proccessors, one with a GTX 1080 GPU, the other has an RX 480. So even if I did find a site that sold UHD 4K HDR Blu-Rays in a 5.25" form factor to fit within my PC case, this worthless requirement for needing a Kaby Lake processor is FUCKING INSANE! Plain and simple. Why the Hell would I "DOWNGRADE" two computers to watch somthing that is now beyond ridiculous. I have waited on upgrading PowerDVD from version 13 Ultra on either computer, waiting for the opportunity to watch content, and now I can't.
Pleae don't reply that you can with "ripped" content to .mkv files, "Bryan***", as noticing from the CPU you listed, you either got the version wrong (I7470) which according to Intel ARK, there is no such thing, so you are "Pirating? movies on a i7-4770/K, or actually have an i5-7400, which is a KABY LAKE processor!
And based on what MicreaForce received from CyberLink support, they are putting the blame on others. Sorry, but I believe the blame is also to be put on CyberLink, since they have been working on this release for quite some time, hence my not purchasing past version 13, and now will not purchase any follow-up version. They would have had to work with all the manufacturers and content providers to be able to have this "Pass the Test". So yeah, Intel, Sony, Warner Bros., LionsGate, Fox, etc. are all in this together to "Milk more money from the consumer". Guess they are in as bad shape with YouTube with all the Ad Money disappearing as well![/quotePostId]
