This past Summer there was an announcement that QuickTime had a security issue when residing in a Windows OS I believe. SO without QT, I can't simply drag or copy .MOV files into the PD library window - since they aren't recognized by PD - since PD needed QT to recognize .MOV video clips.
I am not sure your issue is exactly the same but I offer the above for your information.
Maybe you can try converting theose clips to a different video clip format ... like (but not limiting you to just this format) - like .avi???? Then after the conversion you can try to bring them into the library.

Thankyou for your response. Sorry that I took so long to reply. I have tried several different things and have not fixed it yet. I am sure that I must have changed someting on my computer to cause the problem. I will try to fixit. Thanks again for your help.
