After experimenting a bit, it seems the crashes i had were related to the latest patch. If i just reinstall and dont install updates the program runs smoothly in windows 10.

I upgraded from Window 8.1 to Windows 10 last night. I have an Asus 64bit laptop with a nvidia graphice card.

Everytime I try and run PowerDirector 13 or PhotoDirector 6 I get the message the DLL's are missing. It was working fine when my machine was still 8.1.

I've opened a ticket with support, but while I wait I am looking for solutions. Nobody seems to have had the problem yet.

Has Cyberlink made a statement regarding Win 10 support?

Can we create a dual boot system with 8.1 and 10 using the Win 10 upgrade? If so can we legally install PDR13 on both?
We don't want to take the plunge to 10 until we are sure PDR13 is working and stable which took a long time on 8.1. Power Director 13&14 Ultimate, Photo Director 6, Audio Dir, Pwr2Go 10

Hi,

Just finished rolling back to Windows 7.1 following Windows 10 "upgrade".

My PD 13.0.2907.1 would not render H264 m2ts video following upgrade. I think this was a graphics driver issue (Intel HD 2500 graphics).

My previous PD8 gave up rendering when I updated the driver so I rolled back and everything worked fine. Never tried PD13 with the latest drivers, I just kept the "old" ones. I'm guessing Windows 10 updates all drivers by default, hence the problem. Windows 10 gives no options regarding driver updates (part of the EULA apparently) and appears to always update to the latest.

PD13 now works fine on Windows 7.1, although other software has "thrown a wobbly" (Task manager now shows around 20 Media centre tasks that are no longer compatable).

I'll wait until Windows 10.1 is released in October before trying again.

Quote: PD13 (latest Build) works incorrectly with Windows 10 64Bit and Intel Core i7 4770K (integrated Intel HD4600 Graphics).

Newest Windows 10 64Bit Intel Driver is installed. ( ...424.

With actived Hardware Decoding in the Settings Menu of PD13, The Streams in the Timleline produces a "green Screen" in the Preview Handler Window.

This issue isn't present in Windows 7 and 8.1 64Bit.

It's the same issue with PD12 latest Build.

This is the problem I'm having.

Quote: No, thanks. It doesn't help in Windows 10 64Bit. Green Screen Still there.

In Windows 8.1 all Drivers works perfectly.

Still sounds like a driver problem. Have you tried this version win64_154004 released 07/28/2015?

Intel® Iris™, Iris™ Pro, and HD Graphics Production Driver for Windows* 10 64-bit

Thanks - I appreciate your efforts. I'll stay away from Win 10 until Intel HD Graphics is working. Plz let me know if you succeed.

If you turn off Hardware Acceleration, there is no green screen and it look fine. But then the editing becomes very slowly in my 90 Minutes Project with much Effects, Titles and so on.

I hope cyberlink fix the issue.

Another Issue since PD10: is i produce a BD Disc Movie H.264 with Nvidia Hardware Encoding on (1080 60p), the final Movie runs always from beginning.

If i select the next chapter of the BD Movie to play it always jump to beginning of the film. The Same, if i select another point in the film, it always play the movie from the beginning.
