Here's a little toot for Ian26, who posted a question here - http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/41450.page - about getting scrolling credits and images in sync.

Bit of a rushed job & complete with free spelling mistake. Didn't even see it till it got to YouTube.

Members/fellow PDR users -

Here's the latest from Nina's creative archives... Graphics and Titling

The tutorial shows some inventive ways of creating titles by using graphic text in .png format, and gives us plenty to be getting on with if we're inspired.

Thank you, Nina!

Does menu making baffle you a bit? Us too!

This toot shows a way of creating a video background for a menu template, so that the video can be inserted in a frame irrespective of the project contents.

The same idea can be used to create first play videos & multi-framed video collages.

In CyberLink PowerDirector 10, why when I transfer photo on track for editing the picture becomes a bit blurred, while in the viewing window before transfer the photo quality is very good?

Check the preview resolution setting. If the icon is the same in PD10 as in PD11, look for it under the preview window.

Thank you, borgus1

One question more, sorry,

This icon names "Display options" (3 small squares) and then Dual Preview and what select then?
(then I see active check button OFF only (another no active..) and I can't take away active check)

Thank you

This is what I see in PD11. There are various preview resolutions.

It's best to begin a new topic, with a descriptive subject - next time. This has little to do with PDToots tutorials.

Dear Borgus1,

I do not know where begin new topic. I did not find this option. Sorry...

Unfortunately, I can't fix.

I try to describe my situation in detail.

1) I take the image (my graphic drawing) from library field (click on it)
2) I click "Preview in the Media Viewer" button (under viewer window) -- "Launch Media Viewer" -- View at Full screen.
Quality absolutely fine!

3) I move the same image to work field
4) I click on the image
5) I click "Preview in the Media Viewer" button (under viewer window) -- "Launch Media Viewer" (I see the same table like your, the same checks)--View at Full screen.
Quality in not good.
The image becomes a bit blurred.

I will very-very wait for your advice

Thank you

This toot, made by BarryTheCrab, shows how to create mixed mode discs containing regular video with menu PLUS any extra data you want to include (original photos, clips, documents etc). You can use CL's Power2Go, as shown in the toot, or your preferred disc burning application.

This QuickTips video is in response to a question asked here - http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/42846.page
It shows the basic steps of editing the Profile.ini when PDR's GUI doesn't allow the customisation required. There's also a little bit on adjusting settings in different media players so the player AR matches the video (i.e. without black bars)

There's a downloadable PDF file (updated for PDR 13) showing step-by-step examples of making custom profiles by editing the Profile.ini here

Happy editing from the PDtoots team.
