Quote: Hi,
Please provide some snapshots of
1. the Edit Workspace and
2. the Create Disc > Burn in 2D > Final Output selection.
Full screen resolution and attach to your reply please.

3. Please provide a 5 second sample of the video you are editing and state the source of the video, example: camera = make/model

The sample I have from a Panasonic HDC-TM900 is an *.mts, is that the format you're editing? Please provide a sample that is unedited and recorded by your camera.

Please provide the images as requested,
item 1 is to show the FULL contents of your project,
item 2 stipulates the route/location to be snapshot.
item 3 is for an unedited video clip, 5 seconds long, please clarify what format the Panasonic HDC-TM900 captures?

I have highlighted the parts required.

Thank you

Hi,
Just downloaded the movie file and it is a 3D-like video, which runs excellent on my system with PowerDVD 11 and utilizing 3D option of my system,

The video is loaded into PD 10 Create disc is clicked /// 2D Disc is clicked //
And you have the screen shot of the set up , all that is left is to click on burn and I get same error as at start of this thread.
The video has not been edited.

AVCHD Video (.MTS)
The sample I have posted is from a Panasonic HDC-TM900 is an *.mts,
That is what you have , the video has not been edited.

Hi Abslayer,
Then the video you posted is not the mts file from your Camera, it is an output from an editor. I believe what was the file directly from you requested was a file from your Camera.

It was cut down in size in PD 10 if I loaded complete video from cam it is 358 MB I don't think that would be a good idea.
However video is in the same format that it came from Cam nothing was changed.

To save time understand PD 10 will not burn to disc no mater what format or settings in PD 10 period at this point , even videos that it burned before will no longer work.

abslayer,
a file produced in PD is most assuredly not a file from the camera. Simply shoot a 5-10 second file at the same rates as the files you are having issues with and upload it.
I wonder if you might have a virus.
Last, sometimes, for some reason, PD just refuses to play nice on someone's machine. It happens. Maybe you are one of the unlucky few. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)

abslayer -

Just point your camera at something & record it for 5-10 seconds. Transfer the .MTS file to your PC then upload it directly to the forum as an attachment.

That way, members can test your clip - trying to burn a disc with their PD.

We're just trying to narrow down the possible cause of the problem though, to be fair, there's no evidence so far to suggest that the .MTS files are to blame!

Have you tried to burn a disc, through PD, without a menu?

Cheers - Tony

Hmm never knew that Will do that tomorrow it is dark out side right now.
However like I said I do not think this is on right track with problem as video that (((once)))burned on PD will not do so at this point.
Virus causing problem highly unlikely unless it is attacking PD 10 only as all videos can be burned in LG burner and Nero burner JUST not with PD 10 create and burn.

I guess I can just shoot a clip in house and att.
No I have not tried burning with out menu but I will.

Well done!

You've worked out the issue. It's the menu... & that's not the first time that's happened!!! The is no malicious threat to your PC, but there is something amiss with the menu you've selected.

Did you modify it in any way? or did you use that Monopoly menu just as it was? I'll give it a test over here.

Solution? Use NO menu or a different one.

Cheers - Tony

Holy Kazoly!

I don't know whether abslayer's most recent post looks OK to everyone else, but this is what I first saw...

... and it went on below that.

There are some gremlins in the works for sure

The Forum just had a big hiccup here in New England. Glad abslayer is a step further. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)

Just when we thought we had it nailed!

I just imported abslayer's .MTS clip into PD10, dropped it in the timeline, went to Create Disc, made all the same selections (AVCHD DVD, 4.7GB, 1920x108060i etc, Monopoly menu applied to all pages with no modifications), burnt the disc...

and it burnt without a hitch
then played perfectly in the BR player.

So - my previous assertion was incorrect. It's not purely that particular menu template.

Yes I also had PD 10 burn fail once again with no menu but using a much bigger video this time.
Same error warning came up once again only difference was it came up much farther into the burn to DVD than before.

It was coming up before at 1% of burn like clock work but this time it came up at 7 % and I had to trash DVD.
Dam Go figure.

Item 1 and 2 would be useful. Thank you for the mts file.
