Removing the spaces/gaps on your time line while editing
A gap/space will show as a "BLACK" spot/space/image when previewing. The amount of time it shows depends on how much of a gap/space you have between items placed on the time line.
Dafydd suggests:
Try the following.
1. Spread the time line out
2. Locate the gaps between the clips
3. Position the cursor and "Right Click" on your mouse
4. In the displayed dialogue box, select "Remove and Close gap"
5. repeat as needed.
Bubba Suggests:
I had the same problem at first with PD9. After expanding the time line then I could see the gaps because we are used to the new item just snapping against the last item on the line with older versions of PD.
As with any question you may post in the forums.... if it does not solve your problem let us know.....BUT... if the advise does solve your problem PLEASE post again to let us know that too..
If you right click
IN THE GAP you will get a pop up edit window... use the bottom option... See attached.
