I let the computer burn to file overnight but I do not think that it finished properly. It hang up at some stage and I have no idea how far it got along. Last time I checked it was runnig at 52%.

I checked the folder in the my video directory and have to directories:
BDMV and CERTIFICATE. BDMV has 8 subdirctories but only STREAM has any files in them, the others are all empty. The CERTIFICATE directory has a BACKUP subdirectory which is also empty.

How can I test to see if this is actually going to play when burned to a disc. It does not seem like it worked correctyly.

Is this program any good. I am having so many issues????
Thanks for your reply.

I do not have the files in the default directories.

I have the movie burning towards C:\HD DVD Write\My Video
My original files are all in C:\My Documents

How do I save the original files on the Blue Ray Disc? Do I create a "My Documents" directory and burn them into there?
Ok, the option to burn to file is now activated, thank you.

I tried to open the project with the produced file but that does not work. I produced the entire movie and I know were the file is saved, it is a M2TS file. I tried to load it with PowerDirector, but when I am looking for the file in edit mode it only looks for *psd files. I am obviously still doing something wrong.

On another note, once I have burned a movie to file, can I use PowerDirector to burn it from the burned fiel onto the Blue Ray Disc, or should I use another program? (I have the Suite). If it is possible to to burn onto disc with PowerDirector, how do I do that exactly.

Thanks for all your help
Sorry if I did not explain myself well. I have tried 2 things.
1. Tried to burn the project directly to the disc. Everything works well until 30% completion, then the counter keeps going for hours, but no progress is made, as it stays at 30%.
2. I first produced the project and I know were the saved file is. Then I wanted to try to burn the produced (rendered) file but I am unsure how to this. I do not know how to get PD to burn from a produced file. When I reload the project then it wants to produce it again to a new file. My question is how can I get it to load the produced file so I can burn it?

I really appreciate your help!

THANKS
Thank you for the response, but my "burn to folder" option in the final output window does not seem to be active.

Also, I have produced the movie but do not know how to get that file burned to file.

Thanks for your help
I have tried to burn to blue ray but after many many hours, and no more progression than 30%, I have had to stop it as it was not going anywere. I have burned onto the same drive HD on DVD with no problem. I read that it may be wise to produce the movie first and then burn it onto the disk. I produced the movie but cannot find any info on how to burn a produced file to the disc. Any help is appreciated I have an LG mutli bue drive.
