I am trying to add a smartsound track to the menu I created. I select the tract (one that is purchased) and add it to the menu. When I preview the menu I get no sound. I save my work close the program down and then start it up again. I re-open the project and I get a pop up saying it can't find the wav file of the particular tract I chose. I have tried several tracts to no avail. Anybody got any ideas? I still have Pinacle loaded on my system that use smart tracks and it has no problems with this at all.

Is there a way to make a button without the thumbnail, just text?

Pinnacle can do it, but is buggy. I was hoping this program could do it, as it seems to be a way better editor.

I am new to Power Director 8 and so far I think its great. I am a recent victim of Pinnacle and even though it is buggy to the point of frustration the menus were easier to edit than in Power Director 8. I can not for the life of me figure out how to make a menu without thumbnails. I just want to have text as my button. I also would like to know if there is a way to delete certain buttons I don't need or associate them with another link.
example: Main menu with 3 text buttons - Play (starts video), scene selection (goes to sub menu to select scenes), Special features (goes to a sub menu with special features)
Any idea how I can pull this off? Any help would be greatly appreciated
