Help with menus

I am new to Power Director 8 and so far I think its great. I am a recent victim of Pinnacle and even though it is buggy to the point of frustration the menus were easier to edit than in Power Director 8. I can not for the life of me figure out how to make a menu without thumbnails. I just want to have text as my button. I also would like to know if there is a way to delete certain buttons I don't need or associate them with another link.

example: Main menu with 3 text buttons - Play (starts video), scene selection (goes to sub menu to select scenes), Special features (goes to a sub menu with special features)

Any idea how I can pull this off? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Matthew,

Video thumbnails can not be turned off in the current version of PD8 v1930 menu system. See http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/7491.page#30734 Hopefully this feature will return in a PD8 update.

I don't know about just displaying text, but I would like the answer to this myself. I have never seen a way to have sub menus, but it would be great. __________________________________

Pinnacle can do it, but is buggy. I was hoping this program could do it, as it seems to be a way better editor.
