I'm using a Realtek ALC892 on an Asus P8Z68-V PRO mobo connected to an Asus Essence One headphone amp.
What I'm trying to do is enable Dolby Headphone in PowerDVD 11 so the software processes the 5.1 digital audio stream using Dolby Headphone before transferring it to the Headphone Amp using the S/PDIF output.

Anyone know if this is possible?
Its free for 30 days, but at least it confirms the issue.
Guys,

Its a disc protection issue, I 'fixed' it by installing AnyDVD-HD. Let the software remove the AACS protection from the disc, works perfectly in PowerDVD9.

Cyberlink need to update their database of AACS keys it seems

Same,

PowerDVD 9 Ultra v9.0.4105.51, Windows 7.

Any word from Cyberlink on this?
Hi guys,

Not sure if anyone else experiences this issue, whenever I playback Blu-ray discs using Dolby TrueHD and use Dolby Headphones option with PowerDVD 9, the panning is too far to the left. At the moment I'm having to use my balance setting on my Amp to compensate.

I'm not using any A/V decoder, all running the software decoder on PowerDVD just using line out on my soundcard to 2-channel amp.

I'm running on board audio with a Realtek 888 audio device on an Asus P5Q-PRO mainboard. Windows Vista x64. Audio driver version 6.0.1.5628.

I dont get this issue if playing back using DD5.1 on the BD Discs or DVD's.
