Na klar, das ist die Lösung.
Ein Problem mit 60-70% Last im Idle Betrieb bekommt man selbstverständlich mit einer schnelleren CPU und besserer Hardware gelöst.

I have just tested the PD8 Version with Divx 6.8.5 on my laptop. The same crash as on my desktop computer. Due to the completely different hardware and software on my laptop, except Kaspersky there must be an issue with in PD8 or Divx 6.8.5.
I have only successed with two divx projects and the other tries crashed as well.

Wenn ich den Proxy Server für HD aufnahmen ausschalte ist die Last weg. Ist ja auch irgendwie logisch...

Hi.
what exactly I have to install for divx encoding in PD8? The DIVX installer package has a lot of stuff to install.
So is it enough if I just tick under the divx codec only the "DIVX codec 6.8.5 Codec"?
Without any of the generic playback, pass through,player,Dshow filter...and whatever.
I realise that my PD8 crashes alot of times during the divx encoding process and even when divx is just installed it crashes sometimes when I only start PD8. Without the DIVX package on my computer PD8 runs very stable without any error messages. I am able to encode AVC,MOV,AVI,MPEG2 everything is fine without the DIVX codec on my computer.

thank you so much for testing it! Now I am pretty sure that it has to be something wrong with my configuration.
I deinstalled all the divx,coreavc,mkv and PD8 stuff including any subfolders left and will install it all again and see if it helps. The divx converter works great but only with PD8 it crashes. That is really frustrating... but thanks again!

Hallo,
ich habe MP4 Dateien von meiner Sanyo HD (720p) kamera. Wenn ich dies nun einfüge und mir diese anschaue in der kleinen Voransicht, dann fängt das Video an zu stottern nach wenigen Sekunden. In der großen Vorschau oder Vollbild läuft es wunderbar.
Zweitens habe ich manchmal, obwohl PD8 eigentlich nichts berechnet, eine Auslastung von 60% beim pdHanumanserver im Taskmanager. Hat jemand eine Erklärung dafür?
Mein System:WinXP Pro SP2, C2D 6550, 4GB Ram, ATi 4850 512MB,

Hi. Same for me. PD8 crash every time I try to encode a MP4 video in Divx 6.8.5. Sometimes it goes to 2% or 20% but then it crashes. Then PD8 crashes with an error message or it just disappear. cheers!

Hi. das PD7 ist bei mir auch öfterst abgestürzt. Nach mehreren Updates lief es dann stabil. Jetzt mit PD8 habe ich wieder abstürze. Vor allem bei encodieren mit DIVX. Während des Prozesses ist das Programm auf einmal weg oder ich bekomme eine Meldung, dass PDR8.exe abgestürzt ist. Vielleicht sind da noch einige Bugs drin, die mit Patches begliechen werden.
