Hi,

I did actually buy PowerDirector, hence my frustration was even more.

I have been trying to figure it out. Unfortunately I couldn't find what is wrong with my computer, thus I don't know what to fix in it. Alternatively, I broke up my video to multiple 3 minutes videos. And then I kept merging 2 or 3 of videos together until I got all of them merged. I was able to produce in 4K.

Here is the output: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSCJ213TIdc

I video does appear glitchy at several points where there were meges. The problem I could understand is probably with the way PowerDirector manages the memory. The system goes to crash and it fails to show any error message, it just goes to silent non responsive. The remaining timer keeps on increasing instead of decreasing.

The developers should review how memory is managed when there are sounds, transistions and titles. At least it should properly crash and show an appropriate error message of what the problem is, so that users can find a solution.
Hi, Thanks for the inputs but unfortunately it didn't help either.

I installed NVIDIA gforce and the experience center. Intel says that driver isn't needed. I installed Intel's scan and upgrade tool, it said all drivers are up to date. I checked on windows upgrade, nothing pending there either. I ran 2 command prompts, both said its all ok.

This time I ran and it stopped at 19 minutes around after running for 5 hours.

What else can I do?

Again, my video is just a bunch of pictures each running for a few seconds and there are transitions and background music with titles on each photo. I am trying to produce in 4k default settings and it is not working. I also tried to export in minimum settings but that crashes too (though quicker than 5 hours).

Please help.
Hi, Please find attached my dxdiag file. the video is 28 minutes long. It has only photos and PowerDirector transistion effects in between photos, and music searched from library. Last music is shortened to match the ending (but the stuck never went until that point).

Please help.
Hi, I am trying to produce a video and the Produce screen keeps getting stuck at different levels. Sometimes, it processes 25%, other times it gets stuck at 43% and it even reached 91% once. I've been trying for a week now. I put it to produce and leave, when I comeback after 8-12 hours, I find it stuck at random duration.

I've tried following:

Google reasearch on encoding and setting i could be using, nothing worked. I used default and that doesn't work either.

I tried to remove hard disk sleep timer as never to sleep, and still it didn't help.

I kept moving mouse hoping some sort of hybernation wouldn't happen, still didn't help.

Please advise. This is extreamely frustrating. I need to make video and I'm on a deadline.

Thanks,
