I can't play them on PDVD 10 "Ultra." PDVD shuts down like I just robbed Fort Knot and wants to pretend like it doesn't know me/hates me. However, Windows 7 Media Player is totally respectful of my honesty and my association with CyberLink & the work of film artists. I think I've almost paid CyberLink as much as Microsoft at this point. It's really ironic in a tragedy/fail by CyberLink kind of way.
Quote: THANKS!! Babdi

I did just that before I saw your reply.....spot on though.

I submitted a ticket for an updated version of PD8 with latest patch built-in.

Shock horror when I got the update within the hour; NOW that was impressive lol OOhh lucky me!

I uninstalled PD8 and used Ccleaner to tidy up the registery as matter of course, worked just fine after that.

I have resolved this issue; as I have PM'ed you your aware of other issues that I will post in due course.
I have also updated my system info with new monitors on hardware page.

Michael,

Same issue with PowerDVD 10 Ultra with the 1402/1603. I'm glad you got great service. Since I've done everything else found on the net to include editing the registry I know how relived you must have felt. I'm not there yet. I just don't want to edit the registry more times than I have. Such as 10 and more with this program and others on W7. I'm glad you did not have to do this over and over again. What's you secret to getting the service you did?
