I reported the problem to customer support and they gave me a url for downloading a newer version. but unfortunately this version also has the same problem. i still cannot make move out of my video 
BTW do u run XP sp3?
if so i think ther is a bug in power director 5 ne .. If you get any solution pls post.

I use Power director NE Express 5 version 5.00.2309 Sep. I had no problem until i recently upgraded to win Xp Sp3. I now get a VC++ runtime error . Pls see attached image.
HAs anyone experience the prob?Customer support asked me to update teh drivers and reinstall. I now have the latest from microsoftupdate but still have the prblem
My Hardware
ASUS A7n8xVM400 mb, 1 GB ram, 160 gb Hdd

try downloading a evaluation version from cyberlink and applying the key to make it full version

Power director NE Express 5 ( Packaged with JVC Everio camcoder)

do you run the same version?
