I have tried contacting tech support but I get an error message when I try to send the ticket request.

This program constantly crashes when I am manipulating clips on the timeline. I am working with .mov files and I have followed the troubleshooting directions to uninstall quicktime and install the one provided.

I still get crashes, I am about to give up on Powerdirector.

I have attached and error report from Event Viewer

There is no info in the Action Center.
Has this been fixed yet?
I'm still having this issue. I e-mailed Cyberlink when I started this thread and I haven't got a reply yet.

Perhaps a program called File Scavenger can help you?
When I play the videos in windows media player, they play perfect but when I import into PowerDirector 7 the clips have not sound. Not even a waveform. PD6 that was bundles with the cam works why doesn't PD7?

Here are the video properties as reported by PD7
------------Video--------------
Type: MPEG-4 AVC
Original duration: 00:09:10:23
Bitrate: 13.02 Mbps
Resolution: 1280x720
Frame rate: 59.94 fps
Aspect Ratio: 16:9
--------------Audio----------------
Type: AAC
Sample rate: 48kHz
Bitrate: 128Kbps
Channel: Stereo

----------------------------
EDIT: The sample clips and media not recorded with my samsung camcorder work fine.

EDIT2: The clips work fine with sound in Windows Movie Maker
