Installed patch 3306 today. ISO files play out of Cinema Mode in media center. I installed IE9 and everything still works flawlessly! With my Infinitv 4 I am once again able to enjoy all my TV and movies from media center. It took a while, but it seems all functionaility is restored with this patch.
Hello, thanks for the link.

It doesn't seem like PowerDVD 11 plays back the blu-ray folder structure from Cinema mode, but instead defaults to classic mode. I was hoping for a more seemless implementation as my music, pictures and TV (via Ceton) all run through media center. If ISO files are not officially supported and folder structure doesn't work with the media center plug-in, then the media center plug-in is only useful for physical discs? If that is the case I'll look for different software, which should take less time than digging out all my discs to rerip as folders.
Thanks for the reply Michael.

Is it possible to play Blu-ray discs from a folder structure similar to DVDs at this point? I would like to avoid using real discs as the draw of an HTPC system for me, was not having to have my discs taking up space in the living room and having to change discs when I want to watch something.
I have now been having this issue as well. PowerDVD 10 v2429 disappears when I play a Blu-ray and cinema mode simply hangs on a blue screen.

Again, I am curious if anyone who had the .ISO virtual clone drive issue with patch 2701 had their issue resolved with patch 2916? If so, maybe there are things I can tweek with my setup.
I had to revert back to version 2429. That version and earlier will work with Virtual Clone drive and My Movies out of Media Center. Patch 2701 causes ISOs to become unsupported, and the patch 2916 that was supposed to correct the problem just gives me a black screen when I play ISOs. Of course, patch 2429 does not work with IE9, so I have been using IE8 and now Chrome. I have found however, that some earlier versions of PowerDVD 9 will work with IE9. Maybe if I keep rolling back versions I'll get the functionality I want.
Thanks for the reply. I do have the ATI Avivo checked in PowerDVD 10. I am using a Radeon HD 5870 in the system I play movies from. Has anyone had success with patch 2916 and PowerDVD 10 using the My Movies, Virtual Clone Drive setup out of media center?
So, what is the progress of the patch? I had to wait 2 months after patch 2701 broke ISO playback for patch 2916 to fix the problem, which it them didn't fix. Not sure what patch 2916 did exactly, as I can't use IE9 or play my ISO files with it. Now here I am another two months on and still no solution in sight?

Hello, like many users out there, I was victimized by patch v2701 causing my blu-ray .iso files to give a unsupported format error using virtual clone drive forcing me to use the previous version which had worked fine. Also, installing IE9 broke blu-ray playback in media center using the "My Movies" plugin and virtual clone drive for any version of powerDVD 10. So in the patch notes, I noticed that these issues were addressed in patch v2916. I installed the patch and tried to run a blu-ray .iso with IE8 still installed at first. Well, I nolonger get the unsupported format error, I just get a black screen when I try to play blu-ray discs. I am using Windows 7 x64, with a AMD Radeon 5870, Catalyst 11.4 drivers. As stated I use media center with the my movies plugin and virtual clone drive to access blu-ray .iso's.

IE8, with version 2429 still works fine.
IE8, with version 2701 "unsupported format"
IE8, with version 2916 "black screen"
IE9, any version prior to 2916, PowerDVD 10 crashes.
IE9, version 2916 "black screen"

So two patches later, I still do not have the functionaility I had in patch 2429. Maybe the next patch will restore that functionality and allow me to use IE9.
