Hello, like many users out there, I was victimized by patch v2701 causing my blu-ray .iso files to give a unsupported format error using virtual clone drive forcing me to use the previous version which had worked fine. Also, installing IE9 broke blu-ray playback in media center using the "My Movies" plugin and virtual clone drive for any version of powerDVD 10. So in the patch notes, I noticed that these issues were addressed in patch v2916. I installed the patch and tried to run a blu-ray .iso with IE8 still installed at first. Well, I nolonger get the unsupported format error, I just get a black screen when I try to play blu-ray discs. I am using Windows 7 x64, with a AMD Radeon 5870, Catalyst 11.4 drivers. As stated I use media center with the my movies plugin and virtual clone drive to access blu-ray .iso's.
IE8, with version 2429 still works fine.
IE8, with version 2701 "unsupported format"
IE8, with version 2916 "black screen"
IE9, any version prior to 2916, PowerDVD 10 crashes.
IE9, version 2916 "black screen"
So two patches later, I still do not have the functionaility I had in patch 2429. Maybe the next patch will restore that functionality and allow me to use IE9.
