Im downloading videos from my pc to DVD+R and I get no sound on the dvd. These short clips play with sound on my pc previous to download. Im using power director 5 NE express.
Please advise.I have had numerous problems with these downloads and am considering returning the camera if I cant get this to work.

It seems so simple to me you buy a camcorder the program it comes with should actually work. JVC has given me nothing but the run around, each one of them has had me uninstall reinstall , ive tried 3 different pcs, they have pretty much just wasted lots of my time. The honest answer I got from cyberlink is without an upgrade $89.95 no matter how many dvds I burn/waste (dozens) trying to get a movie with sound its just not going to happen.
Im pretty frustrated with this and at this point if there is no other way ill return the camcorder and avoid all JVC product. Shame on JVC for this scammish behavior.

Lynn Ive reserved the rubber room next to mine for you. Im having these same issues. It took days just to figure out the only dvd this program will recognize is the DVD+R . No sound on DVD but when I play the clips downloaded from the camera the sound was fine until I did the above download now I dont have sound on the same clips unless they are loaded in the powerdirector. And still no sound on my DVDs Ive burned dozens of them trying everything to no avail . JVC says its the software or my pc (ive tried on 3 different pcs) good luck to you im thinking the hybrid cam needs to go back to the store.

LOL after going through every sort of DVD I finally got the DVD+R to work , Ive used them all on this pc before but through this program +R is the only that didnt popup with no disc inserted or does not support this format. I finally burned video but no sound and it looks terrible. JVC is sick of hearing from me and im getting tired of excuses.
