What information? Just downloaded the latest trial version and patch.
It won't apply at all.
I tried to update the program with the latest patch but it says:
"You do not have the required version of the program installed on the system."

Any solution?
Thanks for supporting PowerDVD. I've better experience with their forum than ticket support.

@gia: Exactly, and that's why I switched to Power2Go instead of Nero

But don't forget that the first big problem is the user interface since v11
Sorry, I missed it.

I like Cyberlink. That's why I report the problems.
I know it's not the topic they want but it's the truth.
Hope they read and fix it
Exactly, but you didn't say about graphical user interface, beautiful but very bad.
It doesn't matter what system you are using.
I wish PowerDVD12 will solve the problem of the previous version but it did not.

Bloatwares when you run and it connects to internet.
So many processes, memory hug.
Laggy user interface like when you right-click or choose an option from menu.
And so on...

The program should be rewritten. It's the only way.

R.I.P. PowerDVD
Platform, drivers... believe or not, the problem is your software!
The problem is making money and it's not only CyberLink.
I spent a lot of my time with ticket-support to explain the way to fix a small problem.
But I knew later that I was talking with... Those solutions are dead.

Let's fix your problems or you'll lose your customers.
We're here to help the team but seems useless.

Anyway, I can report most of the problems if you really want to fix them.
Let me say more more time that I like CyberLink and that's why I said them.
For example, Power2Go 8 works very fast, lightweight but PowerDVD 11.
You have good partners, so keep it #1
Don't waste you time. I was using v10 but v11 gets so buggy and laggy.
They won't fix anything at all. That's why I left it, also poor CPU playback quality.
Now I just use Power2Go 8.

Really poor support

Is there anyway to free up the video memory before playing video file?

Use another brand for your DVD media. Worked for me.
Quote: please contact the customer support about your issue

It's so sad that they don't understand too, just keep saying old things...
So sad for cyberlink that have good programs but awful support
I have the latest drivers and updates.
I recorded the sound files through "Stereo Mix" 1:1 @ 16bit/48KHz wav.
The source music video's audio track is LPCM 2.0 1536kbps 16/48:

Please check them
Update your firmware and use the latest Power2Go 7.
Use another brand like TDK or else, or try another dvd burner.
This effect is great but there're two problems:

1. Sometimes it distorts sound because of increasing the bass.
It must reduce the source volume before applying the effect <0db
So even decreasing the main volume in PowerDVD won't help.

2. When I use the seek bar to change the playing time, I get an annoying echo effect.
It just happens in the latest PowerDVD 10 build 2429.51 (not sure about v2325)
I've this problem only when TrueTheater is enabled.

Please fix them

EDIT: I attached the sound files:

Just changed my media from Philips DVD-R to TDK DVD+R and solved my problem.
My drive isn't very good too, so I think it's not Power2Go's fault.
Just disabled Aero and it's working fine. But what's the problem?
I've the latest nvidia driver and didnt have this problem before
I played a lot with deinterlacing methods. First it got even worse but now it's smooth.
I don't know what's exactly the problem because I'm using the default settings now.

Any idea?

I tested with a 1080 H.264 video which had serious problem.
Still waiting for solution
Any idea?
I tried to play some HD video files (mpeg2,h.264) but when I switch to fullscreen mode, the video doesn't plays smoothly.
Please fix this annoying problem

T7500, 8600M GT+latest forceware, Win7 x64
This is one of the DVDs I have: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Jennifer-Lopez-Reel-Me-DVD/dp/B0000TEUNY

DVD9 with 2 audio tracks: LPCM and Dolby 5.1

LPCM plays faster than normal and noisy while Dobly 5.1 plays without problem.
I'm sure the problem is LPCM in PowerDVD.
Next time, I tried to play "VTS_01_1.VOB" directly with PowerDVD and it worked fine with both LPCM and Dolby.
