Hello Johathan.
Can you provide the following info:
1. LG Drive model # (for example GGC-H20L) and firmware version.
2. Video Card model and driver version
3. PowerDVD 7 version/build number
4. Monitor model and connection you are using (for example HP w2207h using DVI)
You can download Cyberlink's BD Advisor and post the result of the test.
What is the name and size of the update file you downloaded?
Check the Program Files folder and make sure that Cyberlink PowerDVD folder is deleted. Also run "regedit" and delete all references to PowerDVD.
for example:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\CyberLink\PowerDVD
Some other tips: make sure you are using Administrator account when you install the update.
Disable anti-virus while you install the update.
Good luck.

I believe the bundled version of PowerDVD that comes with the LG GGC-H20L supports 2CH audio only.
When I start PowerDVD and select Activate I see the following:
Thank you for using PowerDVD. You are currently running PowerDVD BD+HD 2CH version.
with internal pack(s): MPEG4 AVC Pack, Mobility Pack
Anyone confirm?

I just got the LG GGC-H20L yesterday. It has manufacture date of Sept 2008 with firmware 1.03. Try the LG site and see if there are any firmware updates available.
I installed the Cyberlink bundle that came with my drive and the first time I used PowerDVD it informed me of an update available.
http://update.cyberlink.com/ftpdload/patch/BD_HD/Tov4/powerdvd/DVD080917-02/CyberLink_PowerDVD.exe
(around 102MB in size).
Also, are you using the latest Catalyst driver for your Sapphire HD 3870? Version 8.10 I think is the latest.

Forgot to add that CyberLink Online Store offers a 30-day money back guarantee for digital downloads.

Installing the software sucessfully and the ability to actually play a BD disc are two separate issues. You should be able to at least install the software even if your system does not pass the check.
What OS are you using? I think for XP you need at least SP2 and for Vista, SP1 would be your best bet. Make sure you OS is up-to-date with all hotfixes.
You also need administrator privileges.
At what point during the install does the error appear? Can you deselect PowerDVD from the install options and install the other programs without error?
Try copying the CD to your hard disk and run the setup from there.

Did you buy PowerDVD from Cyberlink store?
If Yes:
To re-download software you have already purchased, you will need to go to your order information page and press the re-download button. To view your order please visit Cyberlink Member Zone and click on ‘Check Order Status.
Looks like you can't exchange a download for the actual product. I found this from Store support page:
Unfortunately, we are unable to exchange a downloadable product for a physical product that you have already purchased. Please place a separate order for the physical product.
Your best bet is to contact Cyberlink support.
