I too dislike the fact that this can't be disabled.

One possible idea is to block the website that it attempts to connect to in your firewall program. *Perhaps* if the program thinks it cannot gain access to the Moovie Live site, it will not display the prompt.

Just an idea, havn't got time to check it just now but may be of some help to anyone who knows more about it.

Can anyone confirm if the PowerDVD patches are cumulative?

I have downloaded 7 patches for PowerDVD 8 Ultra over the last 12 months and they use 700mb disc space.

The latest patch (2815) hasn't caused any problems so if I keep that single executable and delete all the others, am I right to assume that I will be fully upto date if I had to reinstall the software and applied the latest patch?

In response to your concern, we regret to inform you that we had escalated this issue to our R & D department and as per their response, the issue has been found to be a Bug of PowerDVD 8 Ultra software.

They would soon release a new upgrade patch/build of PowerDVD 8 in order to resolve this issue.

Therefore, you may need to wait for few days until the upgrade patch is released.

I have recently applied the 2021a patch to the retail version of PowerDVD 8 Ultra and no longer hear any sound during play back of the main movie.

The Warner Bros. titles has some sound but then the rest of the movie is silent.

This disc worked fine under the previous build, 1830.50 and in PowerDVD 7.3 Ultra.

Has any one else experienced this issue/have a solution?

I have recently bought a retail version of PowerDVD 8 Ultra.
However, even with the latest patches available (1830.50. and then 2021a), BD Live functionality will not work on the Transformers Blu Ray disc.
BD Live worked fine in the 7.3 version for the same Transformers dics.

I get an error regarding internet connection/player not BD Live compatible.

I know I definitely have an internet connection and also a BD Live capable player.

Has any one experience similar issues/know of a solution?
