Transformers Blu Ray Live not working

I have recently bought a retail version of PowerDVD 8 Ultra.
However, even with the latest patches available (1830.50. and then 2021a), BD Live functionality will not work on the Transformers Blu Ray disc.
BD Live worked fine in the 7.3 version for the same Transformers dics.

I get an error regarding internet connection/player not BD Live compatible.

I know I definitely have an internet connection and also a BD Live capable player.

Has any one experience similar issues/know of a solution?
