I'm in need of an older version of PowerDVD, one that works on a laptop with Windows XP.

The laptop did not have any DVD Drivers, so it could not play and DVDs.

After installing Power DVD 6, I was able to use Windows Media Player but there was no sound. Considering the sound is working for other programs including VLC media player, can someone explain this? I think this is a result of the trail version but I just want to make sure.

If I'm correct can somone tell me where I can legally get the full version of an older PowerDVD editon? If thats not possible, can you tell me what other programs can help me?
