Well, this is pretty exciting! I've got a project for the weekend to try out.

Actually, I've never used a "junction" before, I've always mapped drive letters to my external USB drives; but I'm certainly going to try and figure out how to do it with your instructions.

Thanks again,
Doug
After a long go-round with tech support, it turns out that I can't use my new drive because it's an external drive and Cyberlink won't recognize my assets if they are stored on an external drive. Bummer.
My only choice to get more space is to replace my single hard drive with a new, larger one - wiping out everything and starting all over. Super Bummer.
My 1TB "C" drive is starting to fill up, severely slowing down my processing times. I've read that I shouldn't move my Director Suite to another drive, but can I move all my extra assets like effect packs, transitions, clip art, LUTs, etc. to an external drive? How about downloaded videos from ShutterStock?
I've got a fast 7200RPM SATA 8TB drive that I'd like to use. If that's not a problem, how would go about migrating everything over to the new drive. Even if I have to delete everything and redownload them, that would be acceptable. I've just got to free up space on drive "C".
Thanks.
