I see this problem reading straight from CDs, or from tracks ripped into folders, or playlists:
In version 17 and (as I recall) earlier, the program would present the track list, and while the music played one would retain immediate access to the list, for all purposes. Now I'm seeing something very different. Clicking on a track leads to a new screen replacing the list screen, the new one containing only information about the single track. For anything else one must return to the previous screen, but--second surprise--that on the instant cuts off the playing of the track. That new screen holds hostage the entire program.
Unless, of course, in the upgrading I've simply missed a checkbox that will reset this business. I looked everywhere, but found nothing. Did I overlook it?

I have got an answer from customer service that solved my problem somewhat. If you play music under the media library you can still browse in your music while playing music. Although list view is not shown it's folder view there, still you can browse.

As I said above, it is NOT an "issue". The UI behaviour was changed. If you don't like it, contact CyberLink customer service and tell them so they will change it in the next version. It won't be changed in this version.

I'll be asking for a refund then, cause it is an issue for me. You can't tell me what's an issue and what's not. I'll be using PowerDVD 17 instead.

Is there already an answer Vorchek problem? Cause I got the same issue, I'd like to see the playlist and like browsing through my music while playing a song.
