Actually, Sony BWU-100A should support BD-R DL disc. However, the issue you encountered may be related to the compatibility between drive and disc. Maybe you can try Panasonic or TDK's BD-R DL disc.
Regarding the certified disc for Sony BWU-100A, you can refer to the document "BWU100A Media Compatibility Guide" on http://sony.storagesupport.com/product/34#documents .

Could you help to provide the build version of Power2Go ( ex. 5.50.1.3321 ) ?
You can use file explorer and find build version by selecting the property of the main execution file.

May I know if the defective management option is enabled while you are burning BD-RE ? Besides, did you try another BD-RE disc ( I know the BD-RE disc is so expensive now ![]() ) ?
