Quote Generally speaking, the templates are small in size and you'd get much bigger relief from moving any or all of the core "My Documents," "My Music" etc. folders to your secondary drive.

To do that, open File Explorer then right -click on Docs, Music, Pics or Vids, and choose Properties, then and go to the Location tab:



From there you can click on Move and transfer everything onto your other drive. That should free up many GB of space.

If you've already done that, or if you still specifically want to relocate the templates folders, you can use the mklink /j command, but it's a bit on the technical side. This article has the details.

Thank you for the info. I try to use the command prompt (administrator privilege). I watch the youtube tutorials but i wont work for me. Im a new babe on the command prompt. I downloaded the third party software instead and i already done link the files. I will open the PD 17 if it works. Thank you again.

Is it possible to transfer my templates to another location like another hard drive. Because my c drive is almost full. I dont know what is the procedure. My laptop has two drives, one is ssd drive and the other is data drive 7200 rmp 1 tb. Thank you.
Hi everyone, need some help. Is there any music plugin for PD 16 like smartsounds sonicfire pro 6 or any other alternative plugin apps? PD 16 magic music doesn't show on magic tools. Is there anything i can do to install it? Thanks
