Hi,
Is possible to reverse and speed up a video at the same time?
I haven't found the way to do it.
Thanks
Quote No, not automatic. This is hard, dirty, manual work.
You can use the power tools - video speed - speed adjustment.
If you select only one clip at a time, you can create many speed ranges and can select "ease in", so the speed change is smoother. But you have to create every range manually and you cannot adjust the duration of the "ease in" - effect.
Good luck.

Another feature enhancement for the developers.
Hi
I do not know if PowerDirector has this feature: I want to make a scene with the camera action, I want the video to speed up the little by little in a progressive way. Is this possible to do with PowerDirector in an authomatic way?
Hi ynotfish,
I understood your solution and it is great, I did not know it could be done.
The point is that PowerDirector should make it easy. For example, I had to edit a video in a short time, I am a beginner, and I wanted an easy way to move and resize a built in Title, and I did not want to to a hard job to do that.

Quote Hi,
PowerDirector comes with some built in Titles with animated effects, but it has a drawback, I cannot resize or move these Titles, I mean, resize or move a title including all its content (particles, text, animations,...), as it was another video.

Take a look at Title Designer tutorials here.

Hi stevek,
I do not mean to make my own one, I mean, for example the already built "Facebook like" button in the "Social folder" that it comes with PowerDirector, I want to move it to the center, and there is not an easy way to do that because I can move the text but not the particle object animation. At least I have tried editing the Title and there is no way to do that for the particle object.

Quote Hi Fran.M -

Similar questions come up quite often, mainly because the animations in many of the titles are completely inflexible. Because of their structure, they can't be moved or resized.

The only way to do it is to get hold of the animation files, which are separate .png images. Then each image has to be modified.

If you look in C:\Program Files (x86)\CyberLink\templates\PowerDirector Content Pack Essential\Titles\PDR13_Click to Add_16_9 you'll see all those .png files... named "like_000(0)" to "like_299"

Now - you could import those directly into PDR, set the durations to 00:00:00:01 and you'll have an animation. By resizing & repositioning one of the images, then copying & pasting keyframe attributes to the rest, you'd get what you wanted.

You're probably thinking that's a pain in the proverbial, & no-one here would disagree!

I took a few minutes to turn that animation into a PiP Object, which means it can be moved & resized. Then I made a separate title template to match it.

Here's the PiP Object - https://directorzone.cyberlink.com/detail/176472396
and the matching title - https://directorzone.cyberlink.com/detail/176472397

In the timeline, they need to be set up like this...

Cheers - Tony

Thanks Tony. And you are tru this is a nightmare. I do not understand why Powerdirector cannot just resize and move a Title in the same way as if it was any other video.
Hi,
I want to change the position of a Title (FBLike button in Social Media library folder). I can change the Text but not the particle animation.
Look at the screenshot, I cannot edit the "Object Settings" on the left side.
I do not understand why I cannot crop, resize or move a Title in the same way I can do to an imported video, it would be very easy.
Any ide about how to change the whole position of the Title (including the particle animation)? I want to set all the Title in the center.
Thanks
