Quote Perhaps there are residual 'shadow files' still existing, which 'take over' in preview mode.

Check this video, it explains it very well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QDIMAy5lDec

Thanks Frank, This answered my question, once I rendered it and produced it came out full quality.

I found it difficuly coming from using final cut pro on mac where the preview quality is the final quality...

Cheers
Hi I am new to Power Director, I am having an issue with the quality displayed in the preview and am concerned that that will be the quality of the final product.

I have viewed the clips in windows media player and they are crystal clear.. However when I put them into Power director and preview in the preview screen they are blurry and look shit.

I have the preview screen quality set to full HD and have it set to real time however its still shit quality.

I know the quality of the actual video clip is not bad as I have viewed it in other players, I geuss my question is once it is rendered will it come out in 1080p full hd? or will it remain in this shit blurry quality.

And/OR is there something I am not doing right when importing the files to Power director from my Desktop?

Cheers Joel
