Quote Was this a download purchase? if so, there should have been a separate file for Adorage. When I purchased PD15 earlier this year, there were 8 or 9 files that I had to download. One of those files was adorage-dspvol02-64bit.exe. Yours may be different if Cyberlink was offering different effects.

Yes this was a download purhcase. You are supposed to get $800 in additional effects per the following link[

https://www.cyberlink.com/stat/store/enu/powerdirector-ultimate/15/buy.jsp#

It lists Prodad adorage as including "1500 effects" but I'm seeing only a few (less than 10)

I purchased the the whole thing recently , full new install, not upgrade and it gave me something like 14 download files. Funny but the full "new" install including Color Director was just as cheap and buying the upgrade from PD13 to PD15.

Anyway, two of the download files were for adorage-dspvol02, one was for 32bit version and the other was the 64 bit version.

They were called adorage-dspvol02-32bit.exe and adorage-dspvol02-64bit.exe

I had 2 separate downloads for Vitascene - Again one for 32 bit and a seperate for 64 bit.

After installing Cyberlink and verifing everything worked, I rebooted just to make sure everything was properly written to the registry and then installed the 64 bit versions of both programs.

They both installed and appear to function properly.

My only complaint is that I don't find anything in the download user manual about using them so I have to just hunt around on how to use them.

If you look at the ultimate package the Prodad Adorage 2 is supposed to give you "1500" effects. Not "14"

Something is way off here. So are you telling me you only got 14 effects despire Cyberlink and Prodad advertising this includes 1500 effects.

Check out the following link

To add insult to injury there are links that were added in Power Director that link me to the Pro Dad website asking me to pay for the downloads I supposedly got as part of the Ultimate package. Seriously guys... Come on
So after paying for a second copy of Power Director Ultimate edition I was excited to try out the "1500 lighting and particle effects" via the Pro Dad Adorage Download.

Unfortunately it appears the same issue from 2015 is persisting with no resolution in sight. I found the issue below in the forum below.

After I install and hit "launch" i get an error saying "the specified file was not found"

How pathetic that software companies can't get a simple installation in Windows to work properly. It's garbage like this that makes me understand why people pay 10x for Apple and Adobe.

Has anyone been able to get this to work. I've wasted hours on this and still can't get what i paid for (or maybe i did).
I have a Samsung Gear 360. Would like to edit 360 photos but curious to know if Photodirector can edit 360 images
1080p with 30fps MP4 is terrible when viewing on PS4 VR headset. Any suggestions

I'm using PD15 to edit and output
Quote My 6.5-year-old computer struggled a little with PowerDirector 14 - it suffered from lag when I tried to move the playhead around, etc, and would pause for a few seconds between closing one process (eg PiP Designer) and starting another (eg timeline editing).

PowerDirector 15 performs worse than that on my new Windows 10 64-bit, 6-core, 12-thread Intel Core i7 5930K Haswell-E/EP computer with SSD, 32GB RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB graphics card..

Did you build the computer yourself?

When I upgraded my computer my motherboard wouldn't recognize the graphics card. I had to buy a card that could switch from UEFI to legacy.

Is your operating system recognizing your full amount of ram and the GPU?

Do you see any notifications in device manager?

When you go to System performance is Power director taking up most resources?

What type of HD do you have?

Are you storing the production file on the HD or on a USB? IF USB is it USB 2?
Hello all. I have a R9 270x 2gb radeon graphics card.

I've read on many of the other threads that a gaming GPU has minimal impact on video production.

Hence I have a few questions:

1) For 4k and 360 video is a discrete graphics card recommended (especially the modern 2-16gb PCIE cards) or is the recommended 128mb card sufficient?

2) Is there any real impact using a GPU or can one simply use integrated graphics?

3) Can I use the 2d Power director benchmarks as a good indicator of how while a particular CPU/GPU will perform in 360?
Quote Page 12 in the LG 360 user manual state that Bluetooth and wi-fi is used with the android cell phone: Bluetooth® is used for pairing, and Wi-Fi is used for Preview and data transfers.

Page 8 in the same user manual show that usb cable is included for data transfers. It is connected to the jack at bottom of the camera. Data is stored in micro usb cards in the camera itself. R105_US_UM_v1.0... is the downloadable pdf manual. I don't feel so bad now. Don't need to use cell phone data at $10 per GB for some U.S. phone carriers.

Maybe the manual is wrong and stevek is right. Waiting to hear from other users of the LG 360. The LG website is bad about answering user's question in the Q&A and like stevek said he already contacted LG about it.

I'm using a Motorola Nexus 6 and can confirm that the 802.11 wlan signal from the lg360 was used and not my 4g data.

Perhaps there was an issue with the specific phone Steve had that recognized wlan data as wwan data.

The transfer does take a while.

I also downloaded the 360 video to my computer but the mpg file needs to be stitched by dragging the movie to the converter and uploading a codec (be careful to download the actual codec and not the two pieces of software placed just before the download you need).
Quote Looks like you have a good start. I have the same question, what editing do you want to do. Just cut out some bad spots, add titles or do you want to do more complex editing?

I had the LG 360 but I gave it away for reasons other then performance. Be careful with the size of the videos; they are large.

Did you see this (link)

Wow very cool video!

Well I took a few photos with the LG360 and WOW the quality compared to my Elephone 360 is exponentially better!

The Windows based software, however, seems extremely slow compared to the other software I've used from Elephone. Stiching a 12 minute video looks like it will take an hour. Granted, the resolution is lower but I wasn't expecting stitching to take so long.

As soon as it's done stiching I'll load into Power director and try some more edits
Quote Hi camhops360.; welcome. Tell us a little more about what you need to do with the editing function of Power Director.

What 360 camcorder do you have? Do you have the video on your computer or just on your camcorder so far? Have you loaded the unedited video on a sharing site like YouTube? If so, how does it look? If you don't mind sharing, please give us the link to it.

Steve: Thank you for such a quick and kind response.

I have 2 360cameras. I purchased an Elephone 3d camera back in August. I also just purchased an LG360 this week.

The Elephone seems to be very buggy and inconsistent (hardware and app). So I'm hoping LG360 will perform much more reliabily.

At this point I'd like to use it for personal use. Recording family events and maybe parties. I also purchased a drone and plan to do drone footage. I've already uploaded a youtube video in full 360. see below

Hello Everyone,

I'm new to PowerDirector and just bought Powerdirect 15 just to edit 360 video.

I've gone through all of the beginner tutorials. I know this is a loaded question but to those of you with 3d video editing experience is there any "things I wish I knew before editing 360 video in PD15" advice?

I realize this is new technology but if I can learn form others to avoid pitfalls I'd be most appreciative.

I'm assuming many of the advanced tutorials are specific to non-360 standard video. Since I only have interest in 360 video I'd like to focus soley on that aspect of Power director (or other features that can be used in 3d).

Thus far I know how to import, edit, cut, compress, add titles, and PIP. I've learned how to load both 360 video from multiple vidoes I've taken and also view and edit pictures in PD15 by converting to .mov.

Not much else thus far. Kind of don't know what to do next.
